SGS Web is a web-based application created to assist criminal justice practitioners in the sentencing process.  Like its predecessor—SGS—it was designed to allow users to more accurately and quickly determine the guideline sentence recommendation for each conviction offense.  SGS Web carries the process further by enabling users to electronically submit Guideline Sentence Forms to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.  SGS Web gives users the ability to enter all Judicial Proceeding information for their county, while providing error checks on the data being entered.  Once SGS Web has captured all the information, users can electronically submit this information to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing (PCS).

The following figure shows the navigation structure for SGS Web.  Each of the buttons represents the major areas within the application.
