The Commission on Sentencing is mandated to evaluate the Department of Corrections Motivational Boot Camp and State Intermediate Punishment Program as well as the Recidivism Risk Reduction Incentive Program on alternativing years.  From time to time, it also undertakes studies as mandated by Senate or House Resolutions.  It also has its own research agenda to evaluate the effectiveness of sentencing.  The results of these studies are published in reports.
