Advanced PRS Workshop (for 8th Edition)

Advanced PRS Workshop (for 8th Edition)

This interactive 2-hour (Zoom) workshop uses a set of example cases that focus on the determination of PRS for cases with complex criminal histories. To attend this workshop, you must have previously completed the 8th Edition Prior Record Score Workshop. This session will not cover SGS Web and is not eligible for CLE/CJE credits.

What to Expect:  If approved to attend, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions to access materials. Attendees should join their session prepared to engage in a discussion about each example case, including reasons offenses were considered or not considered in the final PRS category. The use of microphones and cameras is strongly encouraged.

Target Audience: Criminal justice practitioners with a role in the determination of PRS and who previously completed 8th Edition Prior Record Score Workshop.

Each workshop will be limited to 30 attendees and requests to attend will be individually reviewed for approval. If your county/agency has interest in a private session (minimum 15 participants), contact Tiffany Smith (tjs6536@psu.edu) to discuss scheduling options.
