Description: This 1-hour seminar provides an overview of the annual county sentencing data review process, during which counties receive their individualized sentencing report and the opportunity to review and verify the information submitted to the Commission. Participants will learn how to interpret their county report, best practices for timely and accurate sentence submission throughout the year, and how to utilize SGS Web reports to support internal review and quality control. Final sentencing data is used to support policy development, program evaluation, the Commission’s Annual Report, and publicly accessible sentencing data. Submission of at least 85% of all sentences is required for certification of compliance.
