This seminar will highlight Amendment 6 to the 7th Edition Sentencing Guidelines and Amendment 1 to the Resentencing Guidelines as well as highlight proposals being considered and developed by the Commission on Sentencing. This seminar is approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) credits.
Target Audience
This seminar is open to criminal justice practitioners who are interested in receiving an up-to-date overview of the Commission’s work (research and policy development). These seminars are an opportunity to cover a variety of topics at a high level, and certain topics might lend themselves to individuals who have a fuller understanding of sentencing guidelines and sentencing statutes; however, staff welcome those interested in learning more about the Commission’s work to register.
