This seminar will provide an overview of the basics of sentencing in Pennsylvania and will focus on sentence structure and sentencing related statutes. Some of the topics that will be covered are minimum/maximum penalties, place of confinement and JRI-II. This seminar is approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) credits.
Sentencing Fundamentals Target Audience
Individuals can register for this seminar and may also register to attend Sentencing Guidelines Fundamentals. Both Fundamentals Seminars are intended for individuals who need to be familiar with, and understand, general sentencing structures and statutes and for those required to calculate the sentencing guidelines. While these are fundamental seminars, the seminars could serve as a review for individuals who have not taken a sentencing seminar recently.
