Description: This 2-hour session provides a comprehensive introduction to Pennsylvania’s sentencing structure. Participants will explore the statutory framework for sentencing, including offense grading, statutory penalties, sentencing alternatives, and key considerations when imposing a sentence. This seminar also explains the essential components of the sentencing guidelines, such as the offense gravity score (OGS), applicable sentencing enhancements, information used to determine the prior record score (PRS), and the sentencing levels outlined in the sentencing matrix.
