August Legislative Lunch and Learn: Commission Updates
Join us for an update on recent developments affecting sentencing and supervision practice across the Commonwealth. Since our May 2026 Legislative Lunch & Learn there have been several developments in sentencing law, Commission initiatives, and related areas of practice. This session will share what has occurred since that session.
Commission staff will review recent appellate decisions interpreting Act 44 of 2023, developments related to Commonwealth v. Lee, recently enacted legislation impacting sentencing, and ongoing Commission initiatives, including development of the Commission on Sentencing Records Exchange (CSRE) and efforts related to sentencing and resentencing data.
