Biography:

Mark D. Bolkovac was appointed to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing in January, 2024 by Senator Kim Ward, the President Pro Tempore.

Mark’s professional career began with the Westmoreland County Adult Probation/Parole office and then he subsequently worked as a hearing officer for the Westmoreland County Courts. Following law school, he started his legal practice with the firm Zupancic & Charles in Pittsburgh, before starting Bolkovac Law Offices.

Attorney Bolkovac manages Bolkovac Law Offices, which handles cases primarily in western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He has offices in Greensburg, Murrysville, Indiana, and Uniontown. Apart from practicing before the Court of Common Pleas, he has also handled appellate cases before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, Commonwealth Court, and Supreme Court, as well as various administrative agencies. Mark is a member of both the Westmoreland County and Indiana County Bar Associations.

Attorney Bolkovac earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Politics and Government with a minor concentration in Business. He later graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Arts degree in Criminology. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, while attending the joint JD/MBA program.

Mark is married to his wife, Laurie and has two children, Julia and Nicholas.
