Data Dashboards (2015-2024)

Sentencing data for 2015-2024 is available in the data dashboards below. The dashboards are organized into three panels. The first includes a composite of all sentences imposed across all guideline editions. To account for differences in guideline attributes (e.g., OGS, PRS, and conformity) dashboards are also presented separately for sentences imposed under previous guideline editions (second panel) and those imposed under the current 8th Edition (third panel) which includes offenses committed on or after January 1, 2024.

A tabular report of sentence conformity to the guidelines, sorted by crime type and filtered by an array of crime, court, and criminal details.

Sentencing Outcome Report

Data Qualifiers 

Data in these reports are based upon the information reported to the Commission on Sentencing by county Courts of Common Pleas. The Commission relies upon the courts for the accuracy and completeness of the data. Data are based on the most serious offense in a criminal incident. All sentence durations are reported in months.
